3.Where do you want to go to college?
I'm thinking possibly NYU. Because I have so many interests, living in New York would make them all accessible to me!

4. How do you manage your time between school, blogging, working out, and other stuff?
I'm not the best at time management but I do the best I can. I believe in always putting my values first and doing what I need in the moment to make sure I'm happy. Consequently, that means homework often comes last. Somehow, my grades are still ok! Basically, I'm just intuitive about it and don't think too hard, usually just deciding what to do in the moment. I want to go work out? I go work out. I want to blog? I work on my blog.

5. What's your weekly workout routine?
Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays I go to the gym and do cardio on the elliptical, going between 3-5 miles (or between 30 and 50 minutes.) I also do a couple ab, arm, and leg exercises. On Tuesdays I rest and go to a yoga class and on Fridays I take a dance class.

6. Where do you shop?
I kind of shop all over and I have a mix of inexpensive and high end things. I shop at Forever 21 and H&M most frequently, but I also have stuff from Urban Outfitters, LOFT, Target, Lilly Pulitzer, Tory Burch, J. Crew, Topshop, Modcloth, Anthropologie, GAP, Francesca's, and Ralph Lauren. In addition, a significant part of my closet is vintage or from my grandma and thrift stores.

7. Is your hair dyed?
Yes. But the color it is now is just slightly lighter than my natural color.

Riding boots: Tory Burch; Ralph Lauren
Ballet flats: Old Navy
Basic t-shirts/camis: H&M

10. What camera do you use and how much was it?
I use a Nikon Coolpix L28. I really recommend it if you're looking to have good quality photos but don't want to spend a lot of money. I bought mine on sale for about $100, I think it's regularly priced around $150.

11. How do you edit your pictures?
Sometimes I post ones from Instagram. When I don't, I usually edit them with Pixlr, which is basically a free online photoshop. Occasionally, I leave them as they are.

12. When did you start blogging?
I had a blog from about June of 2012 to December of 2012. In March 2013, I started fresh with a Classy State of Grace.

13. How did you choose the name for your blog?
The "State of Grace" part comes from one of my favorite songs- State of Grace by Taylor Swift. In addition, I have a bracelet with those lyrics printed on it. The "Classy" part comes from the fact I always get called "classy" and my personality seems to fit the actual definition of the word.

14. I want to start a blog. What should I do first?
Ok, the first step is to choose a platform. Tumblr, Blogger, and Wordpress seem to be the most popular choices. Tumblr is really easy to use, but it's kind of its own community and not exactly part of the "real" blogging world. I highly suggest using Blogger. It's fairly simple, there's lots of information on how to use it, and makes it very easy to connect with other bloggers.

The second step is choose a name and design. Come up with something original that makes you stand out. For the design, I've found simple always goes a lot farther, but make sure it's still distinctive.

Next, set up a page about yourself, some sidebars, and social media links. It's great to have a Twitter for your blog, as well as the option to follow you via Bloglovin'. If you want, it's a great idea to add an Instagram and Pinterest. Then, write your first post! You can technically post as many or as little times a week as you'd like. I would recommend at least two but no more than seven. Posting too infrequently OR too often can result in a loss of interest. Make use of the option to schedule posts (if you're in blogger), which allows you write a ton of posts at once and then they automatically show up when you want them to.

Finally, gain an audience! The easiest way to do this is to introduce yourself to some new bloggers every day. Just say, "Hi! My name is ___ and I really like your blog...". Always leave your links in comments and comment frequently on the blogs you already follow.

Good luck!
