quick & light detoxifying meal

During this summer, I've had quite a few unhealthy eating moments... like when I ate two bags of popcorn or three ice cream cones. Oops. 

But I'm trying to eat healthier now and have been detoxifying with some homemade juices and nutritious foods! 

Here is one of my favorite meals I've been eating for lunch lately: 

1/2 chopped cucumber
the juice from 1/4 a lemon 
1 teaspoon of olive oil 
1/2 cup lentils, chickpeas, rice, or quinoa
garlic salt
any other seasoning of your choice 

*Amounts are relative- put in however much you want! You can also add other veggies! 

Veggies + Protein/Grain + lemon, olive oil, seasoning = a great formula for a cleansing, healthy snack or meal!
