Thoughts..?.. (2nd Attempt)

A few days ago I made the exact same post asking for thoughts but I got no thoughts so here is my second attempt. (Seriously. Guys. Comment.)

Basically I've been deciding if I wanted to make a personal blog based off this one and then keep this one strictly for fashion plus some other lifestyle stuff like the occasional recipe, photography post, school post, or exercise post.

My add-on blog would where I would put all my opinions and it would be more like a diary and I would actually talk about personal stuff. It's really hard to keep a steady group of followers when I put so many things on here.

What do you think? What should I do?...

  1. I just found your blog but I can honestly say from my own experience that multiple blogs is a pain. Both for you and your readers. I prefer blogs that touch on multiple subjects anyway- lifestyle blogs. As long as you are honest and true to yourself, people will appreciate what you have to say. Even if you skip topics daily.

However, and please take this as me being kind, having folks do the word verification that you have enabled is a BIG turn off. It's not really necessary if you set your comments to be approved by you.

  2. I would really enjoy two blogs (and I would follow them both), but I guess you should think about what you have the time for. If you find yourself with lots of spare time, then go for making two separate blogs. On the opposite end of the line, if you're finding that you barely have time to juggle just one, then I'd keep things the same. I'm really interested at seeing how this goes if you decide to go to two blogs as I've been contemplating that same train of thought as well.

    Best of luck.

  3. I feel like you're one person so your blog should reflect who you are as that person - my thoughts are that you should blog for you and if people read it and follow/comment then that's a bonus! I got caught up in getting overly concerned with my blogs stats and eventually realised that I wasn't blogging for the right reasons anymore. I like reading more personal/lifestyle posts along with fashion-y posts on the same blog - it makes me feel like I can get to know the blogger more :)

P.S. my apologies for not following your blog before now - I was following your old one - silly me!
